Had a friend who was bitter over being too nice to people then things not going his way. Been there myself in a few areas. Came up with some points of view that may help others who "TOO NICE" Okay 1st off. There is self respect. You give that up and that is when people walk all over you. Being an asshole instead of a nice guy because you trusted too much is just is foolish. That's just bitterness. I tried that. The answer is just use facts. To deal with bullshit. Don't bite your tongue and have FIRM & FAIR opinions. Then go off the rule of equivalent exchange. Don't give much more than you get. So you don't feel OWED. Never make plans

Just thinking about how taste change with more exposure. What may have been new and interesting is has become "been there done that". funny how somethings that actually should be appreciated get overlooked because we are USED TO THEM ART, LOVE , MOVIES, MUSIC, and other experiences.  Tend to lose their edge due to monotony. they fade into a blur of similarity. Only through the eyes of experience  due we push past the average to find the extraordinary. To find what separates someone , something from the ordinary. Nature for instance is always changing. Yet we take it for granted and don't even stop to notice the subtle magnificence.
